Welcome: Invitation from the Organizing Committee Chair

As many of you know, Santorini is a wonderful island with a rich history and exceptional natural beauty. On other pages of this web site, you will find information about the island and the numerous recreational activities that it offers.

We have done our best to put together a most informative scientific program, which will address the latest developments in the field of kallikreins and kallikrein-related peptidases. In addition to the plenary lectures, you are invited to submit your own abstracts for poster and short oral presentations. We believe that this symposium will contribute to further advancing this interesting area of investigation and to the discovery of novel applications of kallikreins and kallikrein-related peptidases in diagnostics and therapeutics.

Those who participated at the 1st International Symposium on Kallikreins on September 1-3, 2005 in Lausanne Switzerland, may agree that the event was a great success. We intend to capitalize on that success with this follow-up meeting.
