Deadline for Abstract Submission for Poster Presentations: August 20, 2007
Deadline for Abstract Submission for Oral Presentations: July 27, 2007 (corrected) Abstracts will be accepted on the basis that fees have been paid for at least one of the authors.
Travel Award: The ISK2007 Organizing Committee will offer 2 Travel Awards (500 euro each), sponsored by the Hellenic Anticancer Institute. Eligible applicants should be younger than 35 years old on October 2007 and will be selected from the Oral (one award) and the Poster (one award) presentations. Please indicate if you want to be considered for this award with your abstract submission.
Journal Publication: Authors contributing oral or poster presentations are invited to submit their manuscripts to the symposium secretariat (submission deadline is November 30, 2007). After peer review, accepted papers will be published in one of two journals: Biological Chemistry (impact factor = 3.17) or Thrombosis and Haemostasis (impact factor = 4.24).
Preparing your abstract:
Before submitting, check that:
- Authors must submit their abstract online.
- The absrtacts should be in English.
- The same font should be used throughout. Use only Times New Roman, 12 point type and align left.
- The abstract title should be in bold upper case letters.
- Use italics for the name(s) of author(s) underlining the presenting author.Use initials for first and middle names and commas to separate authors.
- Give complete postal address and e-mails of all Authors.
- The body text should not exceed 250 words and should be typed single spaced.
- Do not give references
- Please be sure that you submit your abstract in its final form, since it will appear in the Book of Abstracts as you have submitted it.
- Do not submit your abstract more than once to avoid a possible duplication of your entry which could result in a deletion of your abstract.
- The text of the invited speakers abstract should not exceed 500 words.
Content of short talk
Fourteen abstracts will be selected for a short talk presentation, which will take place in the auditorium following each lecture session. This will allow researchers to present their research work at a large audience.
Fifteen minutes will be devoted to each short talk: 10 minutes for the short talk and 5 minutes for discussion and questions.
